ASSISTANCE LEAGUE OF GREATER PORTLAND
Assistance League of Greater Portland is a chapter of a national nonprofit organization that puts caring and commitment in action through community-based philanthropic programs. Assistance League of Greater Portland has been serving the greater Portland area since 1961. Out local community service programs benefit children and victims of violence. Annually, Assistance League returns over $38 million to local communities, assisting 1.5 million people. This is made possible by the 26,000 member-volunteers in 120 chapters who contribute 3.2 million service hours. Operation School Bell®, our signature national program, serves over 300,000 children each year. Since 1958, more than 4 million children have been assisted.
We believe in giving back to the community. Join us in supporting those in need by participating in one of our charitable avenues. Here's how it works. We have 2 options to support local charities:
IN HOUSE DONATIONS TO THE ASSISTANCE LEAGUE
Items will be donated after the original consignment period has expired and do not qualify for further marketing online due to price point or flaws.
Consignors have the option to set up their account to have all funds earned donated directly to any charity of their choice.Seams to Fit will partner with you in selling your special clothing and accessories on consignment in order to raise funds for any non-profit you choose.
Seams to Fit Home can even accept furniture and home décor.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Seams to Fit will provide a courtesy home appointment to assess what will sell best for you.
2. Seams to Fit will arrange any pick-up needed to facilitate items to come to our showroom in northwest Portland.
3. Seams to Fit will list, price and market your items.
4. Seams to Fit has a 90 day selling period.
5. Seams to Fit will send 50% of the sales price to your designated non-profit under your name.
6. Any unsold items will be donated in your behalf either to the Assistance League for clothing or to the Community Warehouse for furniture.
7. To assist your tax records, you will receive a receipt listing all sold items, amount donated to the non-profit, items donated and their value.
8. Seams to Fit will donate an additional 10% of the sales price of these items to your chosen non-profit.

LIFT URBAN PORTLAND
Lift Urban Portland is an interfaith community of volunteers who Lift UP neighbors in need. We Lift UP neighbors by helping meet physical, emotional, and social needs. Volunteers from congregations and the local community empower neighbors to live with dignity and purpose. We operate a food pantry, organic community garden, deliver food boxes to home-bound seniors and people with disabilities, and fill backpacks with weekend food for homeless children who attend our neighborhood elementary school.
PORTLAND COLUMBIA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
Portland Columbia Symphony Orchestra is a not-for-profit service organization dedicated to presenting quality performances of standard, worthy but rarely performed, and new orchestral repertoire. The orchestra features regional composers, soloists, and musicians both professional and semi-professional. Portland Columbia Symphony Orchestra brings together musicians and audiences in friendly, affordable, and accessible concert experiences.
